What Does the Crescent Hill Community Council Do?

The Crescent Hill Community Council (CHCC) is a non-profit, entirely volunteer-driven organization that serves as an advocate for maintaining Crescent Hill’s quality of life and strengthening community pride and involvement. The CHCC engages with the community to:

• Bring neighbors and volunteers together
• Host and sponsor community events such as the Fourth of July Fireworks, Easter Egg Hunt, Chili Cookoff, and Holiday Open House with Santa
• Host monthly meetings all community members can attend
• Maintain relationships with the Frankfort Avenue Business Association and other Crescent Hill organizations and institutions
• Advocate for neighborhood physical improvements
• Strengthen the relationship with Metro agencies and elected officials
• Promote a safe neighborhood

From serving on a committee to volunteering at an event, you can find the right opportunity that matches your interests and schedule. Of course, becoming a member does not require a time commitment on your part. You can choose to be actively involved or just support your community with your membership dues.
