The Crescent Hill Community Council is once again busy organizing our Crescent Hill 4th of July Festival. With a vibrant blend of art, food, music, and fun-filled activities for all ages, this annual celebration promises an unforgettable Independence Day experience. Capped off at dusk with an exciting fireworks display.

If you’ve attended before, you know there is a little something for everyone.  We will again host a bustling art fair, where artisans showcase their talent with an array of captivating creations. From paintings to jewelry – with an amazing variety of handmade crafts, there’s something to delight every art enthusiast and maybe even inspire budding artists.

Prepare your taste buds for a culinary adventure at our food court, featuring a mouthwatering selection of classic American favorites and international delights. Whether you’re craving juicy burgers fresh off the grill or indulging in decadent desserts, there’s no shortage of delicious options to satisfy every craving.

The air will be filled with the melodious sounds of live music, as talented performers take the stage to entertain festival-goers throughout the day. We are very excited to announce the 202nd Army Band of The Kentucky National Guard as our headliner this year.

Families with little ones in tow will find no shortage of excitement at the Kids’ Zone where we’ll have several free interactive inflatables. Thank you to some generous neighbors for sponsoring the cost of this for us! We’re happy that John the Balloon Guy and his crew will be joining us again making delightful balloon animals and painting faces. Cotton candy is a big hit every year as well. There’s endless fun to be had, guaranteeing smiles all around.

And let’s not forget the Pet and Baking contests. So many pets and so much delicious cake! Plan on watching (or participating) in both. When the baking contest is over, you can partake in servings of the award-winning recipes.

Did I mention the Beer Booth, the Cake Wheel Booth, the Military Vehicle Display, Children’s Field Day games and the library book sale? Something for everyone for sure.

So, mark your calendars, gather your friends and family, and join us for a day of festive fun and community camaraderie at our neighborhood 4th of July festival. It’s a celebration you won’t want to miss! The event is located on the grounds of the historic Peterson-Dumesnil House at 301 S. Peterson Ave. and the hours are 10 a.m. until dusk on Thursday, July 4.
