Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 19 for the Easter Egg Hunt on the grounds of the Peterson-Dumesnil House at 301 S. Peterson Avenue. At 10 a.m. exactly the hunt will begin so don’t be late! There will be three separate areas set up for 3 year olds & under, 4 to 6 year olds, and 7 to 11 year olds. Scattered in all three areas will be extra special eggs. Inside of these is a note telling you to bring them onto the front porch to trade them in to get a prize on the display table! Everyone is welcome… so join us for a fun time!

Before the hunt begins there is time for the little ones to enjoy a good story or two from the Crescent Hill Library story lady beginning about 9:30 a.m. inside the house.

After the Easter Egg Hunt, we will be participating in the Easter Parade along Frankfort Avenue. We will be meeting near St. Mark’s Episcopal Church about 11:15 a.m. approximately thirty minutes before the parade begins. We will be walking in the parade giving out candy to visitors along Frankfort Avenue. It is a lot of fun greeting our neighbors! The parade is sponsored by the Frankfort Avenue Business Association. It’s a great event, especially when the weather is sunny! See you there!
