We had another fantastic 4th of July event this year! Although Mother Nature had other plans and interrupted our festivities—preventing us from finishing the Cake Baking Contest and crowning a winner—once the rain let up, we were able to dive back into all the other fun activities.

Every year, we receive heartwarming messages that make all the volunteer work feel truly worthwhile. This year was no different. We were delighted tFemale child with red umbrella, blue rain jacket and red skirt outside during raino receive a note from an attendee from Radcliff, who expressed their gratitude and shared how much they enjoyed the event. They have already staked out their spot for next year and promised to bring chairs. They wrote: “One of the main reasons I love going is because it is so family-friendly, which is incredibly important these days. Thank you for putting on such a wonderful event. Until next year…”
